Blue Galvanized Corrugated Sheet is a wavy metal sheet with a blue coating applied on its surface after hot-dip galvanizing. It achieves excellent rust resistance by forming a zinc-iron alloy layer on the surface of the steel plate.
Production Process
– Galvanizing Process: Typically, hot-dip galvanizing is used, where the steel plate is immersed in molten zinc to form an alloy layer. The weight of the galvanized layer is generally between 120-275 g/㎡.
– Corrugation Formation: After galvanizing, the steel plate is shaped into a wavy corrugated structure through a roll-forming cold bending process. Common corrugation heights range from 10-130 mm, and the corrugation pitch is between 200-400 mm.
– Coating Treatment: On the basis of the galvanized layer, a blue polymer coating is applied through spraying or electrolysis. This coating not only provides aesthetic appeal but also further enhances corrosion resistance.
Characteristics
– Corrosion Resistance: The combined action of the galvanized layer and the blue coating gives Blue Galvanized Corrugated Sheet excellent corrosion resistance. In normal environments, the galvanized layer can ensure rust-free performance for 15-20 years.
– Strength and Rigidity: The unique wavy cross-sectional structure enhances the overall rigidity and load-bearing capacity. For example, a 0.7 mm thick H60 type corrugated sheet can cover a span of up to 3-4 meters.
– Fire Resistance: It has a fire resistance rating of Class A, which is non-combustible.
– Aesthetic Appeal: The blue coating gives it a good appearance that meets architectural design requirements.
Applications
– Roofing Material: Widely used for roofs of industrial plants, warehouses, and special buildings.
– Wall Cladding: Can be used as an exterior wall material for buildings.
– Noise Barrier: When used with sound-absorbing cotton, it can achieve a noise reduction effect of 25 dB.
– Temporary Structures: Suitable for quickly building temporary structures.
Specifications and Parameters
– Thickness: Common thickness ranges from 0.3-1.2 mm.
– Dimensions: The length is usually customized according to customer needs but generally does not exceed 12 meters. For example, the working width of the H60 type corrugated sheet is 845 mm, and the full width is 902 mm.
– Weight: For example, a 0.7 mm thick H60 type corrugated sheet weighs 8.75 kg per square meter.
